Happy Chines New Year !

Hello peeps ! Sorry for the last update.. Its been a busy week preparing for the most important celebration for us Chinese every year which is the Chinese New Year ! I had always been very excited while celebrating this wonderful new year, EXCEPT for the cleaning part.. xD

I know its the second day of the Chinese New Year today but its still the Chinese New Year right? So, I hereby wish everyone 恭喜发财 !!~ :D

These 2 days of the Chinese New Year was the first most wonderful day in 2012 as I think there are more wonderful days coming in the future. And so, on the first day of CNY, which is yesterday, I got up at 6.30am to help prepare everything and pray to symbolize the process of Open Ceremony for the year 2012 according to the Buddhist Calendar and welcome the year of the DRAGON. Then, we went to 2 different temples, one in Puchong, and one in Cheras.. Prayed for prosperity and health and then we took off back home and start the gambling ! haha~ thats what we do during CNY ! I won around RM12 I think.. what a great accomplishment in year 2012, a good start ! :D



The second day, which is today, I got up a bit late... Around 8am, then I got prepared and waited for my uncle to come and bring us to another temple again~ Then we went to my aunt's house to 拜年.. then everyone went to my house and start the talking, watching tv, and not to forget, GAMBLING~ haha.. At night, we played fireworks to get the Chinese New Year mood ! as somehow this year's CNY was a bit quiet compared to last year..

I suppose tomorrow onwards until Saturday, our family's CNY will start to be boring again as 2 relative's family is going on a trip to Cambodia leaving the rest of us here~ well, at least we're not FOREVER ALONE.. haha~ :D

Trip to the Hospital.....

Yesterday, I went to the Universiti Hospital (UH) in PJ as my cousin sis was admitted there.. I was worried sick ! There was a growing near her tummy and she had to undergo an operation to remove it.. Everyone was so worried while visiting except for my cousin sis, she was all cheerful, smiling, laughing, walking around talking to us... She even have the mood to go to Secret Recipe to take her lunch while my aunt accidentally fell asleep on her bed ! LOL..

And so, today morning around 9am while I'm still sleeping soundly =X the operationhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif started and it took around 3 hours + to finish the operation.. The whole family was worried for her, and so around 1pm, everyone of us was informed by my aunt that my cousin sis' operation was successful and she's out from the operation room and back to her ward.

My mum, my grandmother, my cousin bro and I went to visit her just now around 7.30pm and she looked tired, pale and energy-less lying on her bed.. The effect of the narcotic caused her to keep vomiting, but what she vomited are just phlegm.. When I saw her like that the whole time we're there, I felt so sad ! She cant even drink or eat at the moment.. :(

But there colleagues and her mum's colleagues bought flowers as 'Get Well Soon' gifts... How sweet ! you can see the pic of the flowers here~

Finally !

Today was the day for the Korean Open Badminton Competition and guess who are the main characters for the Men Single Competition? Our Datuk Lee Chong Wei and his arch enemy from China, Lin Dan.. Both of the had been competed with each other for SOOOO LONG ! And it usually ended up with the results of Datuk Lee Chong Wei losing the match and defeated by Lin Dan...

And today, DATUK LEE CHONG WEI WON and DEFEATED LIN DAN ! It was such an amazing match.. During the first match, Lee Chong Wei was defeated by Lin Dan with the points of 12 - 21, when it comes to the second match, Lee Chong Wei won by scoring the points of 21 - 18.. This is where things come exciting ! The third match, that indicates who will be the number one badminton player in the WORLD ! Lee Chong Wei scored 21 and Lin Dan scored 14.. Therefore, DATUK LEE CHONG WEI WON !!!

That accomplishment made us, the Malaysians proud ! Thank you Lee Chong Wei, you have once again made us proud of being a Malaysian ! ^_^

Genting Trip !!

On 29th December 2011 which is few days ago, my friends and I had planned to go on a 2 days 1 night vacation to Genting Highlands~ We did many plannings before this and those plans before FAILS and finally this plan at the end of the year was a success ! It took us 1-2 weeks to plan this trip.. At first we planned to go to the Cameron Highlands as I haven't been there for a long long time ! As we planned, many discussions were done and some agree and some disagree and then we changed the venue to Genting Highlands and EVERYONE agrees with it~ So, we carried on with the plans and decision~

And finally on that day, at 10am we took off from my house to Genting Highlands.. The journey took us around 2 hours, I know its a very long time as usually we only need an hour or so to reach Genting Highlands but the uncle which is the driver is a safe driver as he drove at the maximum speed of 60km/h the whole time! When we got there, its already noon which is around 12pm but the weather there is SUPER COLD.. Mist everywhere~~ KUDOS to free 'air conditioning' everywhere ! Yippeee~ xD

Then, my best friend, a.k.a Leong Kah Hoe suggested that we WALK to the mushroom farm and according to him, it is 'VERY NEAR' to our hotel.. So, we agreed and then we start walking... IT TOOK US YEARS TO WALK THERE AND THAT TIME WE'RE ALL CARRYING OUR BAGS cuz one of our friend which is supposed to book the hotel room hasn't arrive yet.. By the time we walk down the hill passing through the bus station, we decided not to visit the mushroom farm as IT IS SO DAMN FAR ! Then, we walked back up to the hotel and seriously it is a great workout and it drained most of our energy and thank GOD we received a call from our friend saying that he had arrived and so we hurry up to the hotel and waited for him.. We waited at Genting Hotel for him and he didn't show up, so we called him once again and then he told us that his dad booked Highlands Hotel instead! We were like .......... !!!! LUCKILY Highlands Hotel is just next to Genting Hotel or else he is GOING DOWN !!! LOL !

We finally got our room cards and we rushed up to our room and REST ! We talked the whole time and one of us decided to go swimming and everyone agrees except for Vincent Eng as he is not feeling well that time~ but he have no choice but to agree to follow us there and to take care of our stuff ! haha~ pity him~ xD
The water of the swimming pool is just like the hot springs in Japan~ SO COMFORTABLE! Imagining dipping into the warm water when the surrounding temperature was just 19-20 degree... AWESOME-ness !!!

We swam for like 2 hours and then we decided to leave and go back to our hotels and have our dinner which is Instant Noodles Cup.. HOW SAD !! :(
After eating, we prepared ourselves and took off to the indoor themepark ! The themepark really changed ALOT ! more and more violent games according to my personal opinion... But its not much worth it as compared to last time to play at the indoor themepark cuz the redemption of points will be converted into MYR and to buy stuff in the gift shop and the unworthy part is that the cheapest item in the shop is a pack of poker cards with the price of RM5.50! The next cheapest item based on my scanning of the items in the shop is RM16.90 which is a box of chocolate..

We spent around RM120 to play the games and the points we collected are just enough to be converted into RM14, so we chose to buy the chocolate that costs RM16.90 and we have to pay an extra of RM2.90 ! HOW UNWORTHY !

One weird thing is that as late as the night become, more and more people are coming to the themepark.. Especially small kids ! I thought small kids would need to have their good night sleep early? What's wrong with the parents nowadays? Awkward~
And so, we went back to our hotel at 12am and then to prepare ourselves for bed~

The next morning, we got up early to have our breakfast and we barged to the outdoor themepark counter to buy our tickets.. We're glad that we're 15 minutes early as we reached there when the counter haven't open yet and there is already people lining up to buy the tickets! As time pass, more and more people are lining up behind us! Aren't we glad to be here earlier than them? xD

Right after we bought the tickets and got our wristband tagged, we rushed to the 1st game, Bumper Boat~ I didn't go on that ride while the others went on it cuz I don't want to get myself wet! I helped them to take some nice pics though~ Next, we went on the 'Spinner' which is like a swing and we sit on it and it start spinning with different angle ! IT WAS AWESOME !



The next ride was the most EXCITING one! The 'Space Shooter'! I have never played that before in my life until then, and now I would never ever get on that ride again! ITS WAS SO SCARY THAT I KEPT MY EYES CLOSED FOR THE WHOLE TIME ! When it rushed down, the pressure was changing so quickly until I can't scream! MY GOD ! Thank GOD I can stand within my feet after that game.. LOL~ After that, we went for the 'Grand Prix Fun Kart'.. One major complaint for the game is that the helmet and the seat guards are EXTREMELY SMELLY ! OMG TO THE MAX !!!!!!!!! Yuck !



Then we went on to the next ride, 'Corkscrew' which is the roller coaster~ I yelled throughout the whole ride.. LOL ! haha~ xD
Song Sheng and Shao Qin decided to go on the 'Sungai Rajang Flume Ride' which is the game I object the most at the outdoor themepark as it will 1000000000% make you WET! But the insist to go on that ride so we let them be~ and as expected, they came back with their whole body wet! Then, my best friend LKH had got bored of the exciting games and decided to go on the 'Mini Train'.. LOL ! How embarrassing ! xD

Then, I decided to ride the Spinner once again as it is SOOO FUN ! But this time Vincent do not want to get on it anymore.. LOL~ after that, it started to rain but the good thing is we got to try every game of the outdoor themepark so it is worthy after all~ ^_^

We went back and have our lunch, then we return to our hotel room and get some rest.. Then, Song Sheng suggested to go play snooker but me and LKH don't wanna join them, so we both stayed in the hotel room continue to watch TV and talk talk talk~
Then, the uncle called saying that he reached the hotel and this means its time for us to go back~

Although this trip is very exhausting, I enjoyed it to the MAX ! Genting won't be that fun unless we're going with our best and good friends~ Thank you guys for making this trip an AMAZING one~ We must do it more often! but next time, no more Genting~ the food are expensive ! >_< there flies my savings....... donated to Genting Highlands for them to build more stuffs to increase their profit... T^T
